Battery Operated Optical Smoke Detector

Description

This Optical Smoke Alarm comes with 230V AC mains power supply and replaceable alkaline battery back-up. It is best for detecting heat build-up from large flaming fires.

It is supplied with the Easy-Fit base to facilitate quick and simple installation, combined with simple detector head removal and replacement. The Easy-Fit base automatically connects both mains power and battery as the detector head slides on.

This Optical Smoke Alarm may operate as a standalone alarm or may be interconnected to other alarm system.

The alarm is fitted with a Test / Hush button to facilitate frequent testing of the alarm and system. The silence function allows the alarm/ system to be silenced in the case of a false or nuisance alarm, e.g. cooking fumes.

This Optical Smoke Alarm is fitted with a main ‘power on’ green LED indicator and red LED indicator for false conditions.

The memory feature allows an alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified. This is useful if you have been away from the property at the time of the alarm event.
